Peru is home to some of the highest quality fibers, including pima cotton, alpaca and highland wool. Others such as cashmere and merino wool (as well as many others) are regularly imported and then expertly spun and finished in Peru.

An endless combination of thickness, twist and fibers can be spun at Peru’s exceptional mills, usually with 30-60 day lead time and minimums ranging from 20-50kg.

Chain yarn, eyelash yarn, brushed, melange, twees. There are a variety of effects and treatments that can be made to yarns.
ALPACA
Alpaca is of course native to Peru. The fiber is durable and light, is thermo-regulating in addition to moisture-wicking.
Alpacas themselves can live in extreme conditions, making them very sustainable to breed. In contrast to the heavy hooves of cashmere goats and sheep, which can damage the land beyond repair, alpacas have very light feet

In addition to industrial dyes, there is a wide variety of artisanal yarn dyes available, with of garment dyes which can add a tremendous value and innovation to products.
